New study offer in cooperation with Landbauschule Dottenfelder Hof

Combining studies with a year of study on a biodynamic farm

The cooperation between the University of Kassel-Witzenhausen and the Landbauschule Dottenfelderhof e.V. allows students a special immersion in the subject of biodynamic agriculture.

By participating in a year-long course that has been training gardeners and farmers since 2009 to become "state-recognized specialists in biodynamic agriculture," students from Witzenhausen can complete the one-year technical school training as part of their studies and obtain this additional qualification. The Dottenfelderhof is a very good combination of practice and study location. The students of the year-long course are fully integrated into the farm activities and experience the practice at first hand on a daily basis. By combining the two trainings, the study course becomes altogether half a year longer. However, compared to the two training courses individually, half a year of training time can be saved.
