Effect of different types of soil conditioners (plant-derived composts and animal manure) and application methods on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of tomatoes and select soil parameters
This project is a cooperation between University of Kassel (Germany) and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Iran) in order to study the effect of different plant-derived soil conditioners on organic tomato field in arid and semi-arid conditions.
The objectives of this two year project are:
- Comparison between household and green-waste compost and cow manure on yield and growth parameters of tomato
- Determination of the best kind and method of application of organic fertilizers in concern of yield, growth parameter, crop health and potential of production
