Since 01.07.2014, the Department of Structural Engineering has been headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Wackerfuß. Professor Wackerfuß previously worked at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he was most recently head of an Emmy Noether junior research group. Christian Schröppel, Florian Niederhöfer and Jonas Marczona also came to Kassel from this research group.
