Experimental laboratory set up for students. The Department of Structural Engineering has set up its own student laboratory. As of now, the laboratory gives students the opportunity to carry out experimental investigations of load-bearing structures on a model scale. This can be in the context of a project or thesis as well as in the context of a HIWI activity. The laboratory is equipped with a 3D experimental frame firmly attached to the floor, a workshop area, a material store, a 3D printer and measuring equipment. Luisa Porsch played a very significant role in the design and implementation of the lab as part of her master's thesis. We would like to expressly thank her for her exemplary commitment.
