Holländischer Platz

The University of Kassel has its central campus at Holländischer Platz on the edge of Kassel's city center. The former Henschel company site is home to the Faculties of Humanities, Humanities and Cultural Studies, Social Sciences, Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Planning, Economics, Civil and Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The International Study Center, the IT Service Center, the Institute of Music, graduate centers and colleges and the administration of the University of Kassel are also located here. The University Library has its headquarters here with the Campus Library and five other libraries at other university locations. As a state and Murhard library, it is also open to the regional public.

The Holländischer Platz campus is currently undergoing extensive expansion to the north. The Science Park start-up center is also located here.

• Alternative: Tram line 3, 4 or 7 to "Am Stern" stop, change there to streetcar line 1 or 5 or walk the short distance to Holländischer Platz.

Kassel Wilhelmshöhe train station -> Campus Holländischer Platz:
From Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (train station) take streetcar line 1 in the direction of Holländische Straße/Vellmar to the stop "Holländischer Platz - Universität".
