VdK's advisory services date back to the association's founding period. It forms an important pillar of the association's work and has been put on a legal footing for the first time since the reform of legal advice law in 2008. In the light of academic discussions, advice appears to play a key role in access to the social security systems. The lecture will focus on the importance of advice provided by associations for access to the social security systems.
