The aim of the working groups is to develop integrative research perspectives and to promote exchange with actors in social practice in relation to the respective subject area of social law and social policy research. This includes thematically relevant series of events, lectures, conferences or workshops and the development and conception of cooperative research projects with the prospect of third-party funding, including joint programs for the promotion of doctoral and early career researchers. The number of working groups in the research network is not fixed, as these are intended to bundle both long-term thematic interests and newly emerging research focuses. This gives researchers the opportunity to react quickly to current developments by setting up a new working group. All working groups in the research alliance are open to interested parties from both universities and are interdisciplinary.
