Copying

With the multifunctional devices from RICOH you can copy by wallet or cost center (only employees of the University of Kassel) on a campus card. Among other things, functions such as multi-bypass as well as single and double-sided copying of single and double-sided originals are available.

After the control panel of the device has been unlocked by card, you can find the copying functions by pressing the topmost of the buttons on the left side of the device.

We recommend selecting the"Automatischen Reprofaktor" for most of the copying jobs that come up, this will correctly scale almost all formats to the set target medium (A4 or A3 paper). For reliable format detection, it can be helpful to close the cover - this also saves toner when printing.

According to the manufacturer, if you activate"Automatische Farbwahl" in the left column on the screen, the device automatically detects whether a page contains color or not during copying and calculates accordingly. Note: The values set by the previous user are retained. If necessary, reset the settings to the default settings by pressing the "C" key on the device and set the settings required for your copy job yourself.

If a copy or print operation is to be canceled via the control panel, proceed as follows:

1. Press the button with the printer icon on the left edge of the control panel.
2. Press on the display:
   1. "Job Reset"
   2. [Job zurücksetzen/Reset Job] or [Alle Jobs rücks./Reset All Jobs].

A confirmation message is displayed.
