CoARtec - Collaborative Augmented Reality

CoARtec - Collaborative Augmented Reality - is a start-up project at the University of Kassel, which is currently being funded by an EXIST start-up grant. The founding team is developing augmented reality-based assistance systems for assembly tasks. Areas of application include the manual production of industrial goods. The user is not only provided with information on the current task, but errors in the assembly process are also detected and reported back. With this unique selling point, the innovative assistance system not only sets completely new standards in quality assurance, but also enables completely independent training of new skilled workers.
