SolarAutomotive - Solare Prozesswärme für die Automobil- und Zulieferindustrie

Short Description

The aim of the German-Austrian joint-research project SolarAutomotive is to establish solar process heat as a competitive technology along the entire value chain of the automotive industry and thus to contribute to the substitution of fossil fuels and reduction of CO2 emissions in the analyzed manufacturing industries. Therefore, suitable applications and potentials will be identified and flagship projects initiated. In addition to a target group analysis in these end-customer-related manufacturing sectors, which can be applied across other industry sectors as well, solar process heat integration concepts are developed and transferred to custom made computer tools for solar engineers and planners.
