SOPREN - Solare Prozesswärme und Energieeffizienz

Short description

Within the scope of the project "Solar Process Heat and Energy Efficiency", Kassel University was working on three main aspects of solar heat for industrial processes: potential of solar heat for industrial processes in Germany, realisation of pilot- and demonstration plants and sector solutions for the implementation of solar heating systems in existing processes. The main results of the project are a comprehensive potential study for Germany, a realized pilot plant at the Hütt Brewery in Kassel and sector specific guideline for the integration of solar heat in breweries.
