In the project the effort in developing new control algorithms for solar thermal systems should be significantly reduced.

For this situation simulation-based tools are developed which enable manufacturers of solar systems and controllers to create new control algorithms based on a unified platform to create and check this.

The IdE supports the research project as a subcontractor and is mainly develop detailed thermal models and test new control algorithms experimentally.
