RPC2

NetzbetreiberĂĽbergreifendes Blindleistungsmanagement in Verteilnetzen

The aim of the RPC2 project is to develop and test possible measures for regulating the reactive power balance of electrical distribution grids at high, medium and low voltage levels.  To this end, active and situation-dependent use is to be made of the reactive power supply potential from reactive power-capable systems (decentralized generation systems as well as (industrial) compensation systems) and transformer staging in the distribution grid in order to influence the reactive power balance in a targeted manner.
On the one hand, innovative decentralized procedures in the low-voltage level and, on the other hand, innovative central and cross-voltage level procedures in the medium and high voltage are to be developed and investigated.  The centralized methods are also to be designed for use across grid operators.
