The department addresses the essential linguistic and cultural didactic aspects of French and Spanish. In teaching, current school and university didactic methods such as e-learning and task-oriented learning are implemented. One focus is the practical concept, which is evaluated and optimized: Students develop tasks themselves, test them in school practice and then evaluate this process.
A continuously offered research colloquium also shows interested students the perspectives of a conceivable academic career in the didactics of Romance languages.
