Language practice is an essential component of our Romance Studies programs, both the teacher training programs and the Bachelor's and Master's programs.
The goal of language practice is to achieve comprehensive communicative competence in the Romance languages French and Spanish. This includes not only the deepening of linguistic skills, but also the achievement of intercultural competence and the acquisition of a reflected autonomy of learning.
The development of oral and written reception and production competence is practiced and deepened in various modules that build on each other, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Language acquisition and language deepening take place with different methodological approaches and by means of traditional and new media. The courses are offered by lecturers and teaching assistants of the institute.
