The IfSS has been cooperating for years with the Institute for Prevention and Sports Medicine Bad Wildungen, the Orthopaedic Clinic Kassel and the Red Cross Hospital Kassel to ensure teacher training in sports medicine topics.

Dr. med. Dr. Sportwiss. H-H. Vater is a specialist in general medicine in Bad Wildungen and teaches the introductory course in sports medicine for all sports students at the IfSS as well as seminars on sports medicine performance diagnostics and on the subject of sport and nutrition. Colleagues from the Orthopaedic Clinic in Kassel led by Prof. Dr. G. Heers provide a wide range of sports medicine courses with advanced courses in the fields of sports orthopaedics, trauma surgery and anatomy.
