Accommodation

Most German students are accommodated in WGs. This is an abbreviation for Wohngemeinschaft meaning a shared appartment. In contrast, there are only few dormitories available as compared to Anglo-American and Australian universities. It is an advantage for you to live with other fellowe students or with a family to improve your German vocabu-lary, to learn about German culture and to immerse into the social groups, join parties, or meet people.

We will help you to find accommodation in WGs, with families, or single rooms in student homes. In this regard, please let us know a few months prior to your arrival to find something suitable for you.
