As part of the DiWiBe project team(understanding and teaching the digitalization of economic and commercial professions), we are delighted to be able to present our contribution in the current annual volume of the German Society for Economic Education. The book entitled "Evidenzbasierter Wirtschaftsunterricht" is now available digitally via Springer Nature Link. A printed edition can be ordered shortly.

Our contribution entitled "Digital transformation in business education: teacher training for the integration of digitalized business processes" was written by Florestine Alexander, Theresa Bauer, Maxi Brausch-Böger, Dr. Simone König-Ziegler, Verena Pfeiffer, André Schulz, Prof. Dr. Manuel Förster and Prof. Dr. Michael Goller and can be found on pages 297-314.

The book is aimed at anyone interested in evidence-based approaches and innovations in business education. Our contribution focuses on the far-reaching changes brought about by digitalization in the world of work. The new digital requirements are changing professional fields and present teachers with the task of equipping learners with the appropriate technical and (media) didactic skills. Teacher training is crucial in order to effectively integrate digital technologies in the classroom and make vocational education and training fit for the future.
