Directions

Bus and streetcar stops in the immediate vicinity of the university:

  • Korbacher Straße/Universität: streetcar lines 3 and 7.
  • Heinrich-Plett-Straße: streetcar lines 2, 3, 6 and 7, and bus lines 17 and 21.

Reach Kassel by train at the station "Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe". At the station forecourt, take streetcar line 3 or 7 - direction "Mattenberg". Get off at the stop "Korbacher Straße - Universität". Cross the street at the stop and walk straight ahead for approx. 150 m.

Take the A44 freeway to the Südkreuz Kassel junction. From there, take the A49 in the direction of Kassel-Innenstadt. At the Kassel-Niederzwehren junction, leave the freeway and follow Frankfurter Straße into the city. 500 meters after the Jet gas station, turn left into Altenbaunaer Straße. Cross the streetcar tracks twice as you proceed. Then turn half right into Oberzwehrener Straße. At the next traffic light turn left into Korbacher Straße and after about 150 meters turn left again into Heinrich-Plett-Straße.

Take the A7 freeway to the Kassel junction. From there, take the A49 in the direction of Marburg. The nearest airports are: Kassel-Calden, Frankfurt, Hannover and Paderborn. From Kassel-Calden you can get to Kassel city center by cab or bus line 130. You can get the exact timetable on the website of the Kasseler Verkehrsgesellschaft. There are train connections to Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe from Frankfurt, Hanover and Paderborn.
