Enter the building through the main entrance and follow the entrance hall to the right. In front of the glass door, turn left (past lecture hall 0282) and take the staircase to the first floor. After leaving the staircase the group is located on the left side. The secretariat is in room 1265.

Bus and tram stops in the immediate vicinity of the university:

• Korbacher Straße/Universität: Straßenbahn (tram) line 3 and 7.
• Heinrich-Plett-Straße: Straßenbahn (tram) lines 3,4 and 7.

The main train station is Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe. Train connections are available via www.bahn.de. From the platform in front of the train station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, take Straßenbahn (tram) line 3 and 7 in the direction of Mattenberg.  Get off the tram at the stop Korbacher Straße/Universität. Cross the street at the tram stop and walk approximately 150 metres straight ahead.

Take the highway A44 to the Südkreuz Kassel (southern interchange).  From there, take the A49 in the direction of Kassel-Innenstadt (downtown Kassel).  Exit the highway at Kassel-Niederzwehren and follow Frankfurter Straße into the city.  Approximately 500 metres past the Jet petrol station, turn left onto Altenbaunaer Straße.  Behind the railway bridge, keep to the right onto Oberzwehrener Straße.  At the next traffic lights, turn left onto Korbacher Straße, then left again after approximately 150 metres onto Heinrich-Plett-Straße.

Take the highway A7 to the Kreuz Kassel (Kassel interchange).  From there, take the A49 in the direction of Marburg.  Exit the highway at Kassel-Niederzwehren and follow Frankfurter Straße into the city.  Approximately 500 metres past the Jet petrol station, turn left onto Altenbaunaer Straße.  Behind the railway bridge, keep to the right onto Oberzwehrener Straße.  At the next traffic lights, turn left onto Korbacher Straße, then left again after approximately 150 metres onto Heinrich-Plett-Straße.

International airports in the area are: Kassel-Calden, Frankfurt, Hannover and Paderborn. From Kassel-Calden, you can take a taxi or bus (line 130) to downtown Kassel. The timetable is available on the website of the Kasseler Verkehrsgesellschaft. From Frankfurt, Hannover und Paderborn airport, take the ICE train to the station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, then follow the “Arriving in Kassel by train” directions above.
