CRC 1319 ELCH Opening Colloquium on 14th May 2018

The DFG Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1319 ELCH: „Extreme light for sensing and driving molecular chirality“ was launched in January 2018 at the University of Kassel. The first funding period will last 4 years.

The work of the CRC will be accompanied by a series of scientific talks given as part of CRC seminars during the lecture periods. We would like to officially launch these with a very special talk.

We are pleased to welcome the internationally recognized scientist, Prof. Martin Quack from the Eidgenössischen Technischen Hochschule Zürich as our guest speaker. The topic of his talk is as follows:

„Die Spiegelsymmetrie des Raumes und die Molekulare Chiralität: Von den Symmetrieverletzungen der Physik zur Stereochemie und zur Biologischen Evolution“

All interested are kindly invited to participate.
