Description of Project
QualityLowInputFood is a project financed by the EU in which 31 research institutions, universities and companies from 15 European countries are involved. The main aim of the project is to improve quality, ensure safety and reduce cost along the supply chains through research, dissemination and training activities. The project focuses on increasing value to both consumers and producers using a fork to farm approach. The main tasks of our department are in sub-project 1 in which the focus is on a detailed analysis of consumer expectations/attitudes and buying behaviour, with respect to quality and safety of foods produced in organic and low input production systems. A detailed description of the aims and work plan can be seen on the Project Homepage
