Effects of biodynamic preparations on soil microbiome (2021 - 2025)
Organic fertilisation used in organic agriculture enriches the microbiological community. There is evidence that the use of biodynamic preparations can promote microorganisms with growth-promoting and resilience-mediating properties. In the project, the effect of the biodynamic preparations is tested in a broad soil spectrum with different crops at several locations in Germany and France. In addition, the potential positive effects of organic and biodynamic management methods on plants will be compared in a 15-week time series. In addition, the influence of biodynamic preparations on various soil physical and biological parameters will be investigated on samples from a long-term trial in Bonn and from biodynamically managed vineyards in France.
