The laboratory of Department of the Geotechnical Engineering Department offers all standard soil mechanical tests.

For example:

• Grain distribution (sieving and sedimentation)

• Density determinations
• Compression tests
• Shear tests (frame shear tests and triaxial tests)

The laboratory is equipped with the latest measurement technology.
Due to this, the measurement data acquisition is done electronically. 

In addition, in the laboratory can be carried out:

• Cyclic triaxial tests
• Shear strength determination in the large-frame shear tester
• Large-scale tests under high static and cyclic loads
• Permeability tests at high pressure heads
