Laboratory for surveying technology
The instrumental equipment of the surveying technology laboratory primarily includes the classic surveying equipment such as levels, theodolites and total stations. The equipment is supplemented by modern instruments such as digital levels, rotating lasers, GPS - RTK equipment, reflectorless rangefinders, target-tracking total stations and laser scanners. A variety of special accessories for non-traditional engineering surveying tasks are available.
A test field with permanently installed targets and reflectors is available for checking surveying instruments. Here, the handling of modern surveying instruments can be practiced relatively quickly and independent of the weather.
The equipment for geodetic data processing serves the development, examination as well as the exercise of procedures within the range of the EDP in the surveying. It is available for the preparation of project work and final theses. With the available software (geodetic calculations, network adjustment, CAD and GIS programs) even complex tasks can be carried out.
