Organizational Development at the University of Kassel

Organizational development at the University of Kassel deals with the systematic support of change processes and enables the university as a learning organization in meeting and shaping constantly changing conditions. These can be process changes that have an impact across the organization or changes that arise due to restructuring, realignment or even the establishment of new organizational units.

Change Management

The Strategic Personnel Development advises and supports leaders and teams in change processes. Together, an approach for successful change is developed.

Support includes consulting and coaching for leaders during restructurings, guidance through change processes, and individual or team development measures.

Employee survey on job satisfaction

As a strategic instrument for improving the employee satisfaction, regular employee surveys take on a diagnostic function for job satisfaction and at the same time contain design elements for change processes.

Employee surveys on the organizational climate were carried out at the University of Kassel in 2012 and 2019.

Further survey is planned for 2026.
