Support of the profile building process in research and teaching at the university

Within the framework of the profile budget of the state of Hesse, which serves to support strategic projects of the Hessian universities linked to the target agreements, the University of Kassel has set itself seven projects for the years 2021 to 2025:

1. funding of the research focus Molecular Nano- and Microcomponents for Multifunctional Materials, Devices and Systems.
2. the promotion of the research focus Sustainable Transformations by, among other things, establishing the new scientific center Kassel Institute for Sustainability
3. the MINT Hub project for networking and bundling university research, teaching and transfer activities in the MINT field
4. the modernization of study programs
5. the support of dual doctorates in teacher education
6. the establishment of graduate funding in the field of film and media
7. the further development of start-up support at UniKasselTransfer
