Introducing our new team member: M.Sc. Xiao Shen on-board!

We are excited to welcome Mr. Xiao Shen to our team as a scientific researcher, starting in November 2023. Xiao has obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) in China and his Master’s degree from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Following his studies, Xiao dedicated four years as a scientific researcher at the Steel Institute of RWTH Aachen University, where he played a pivotal role in various research projects.

Xiao’s research interests span a wide range of topics within materials science and engineering, including nano-characterization, studying hydrogen embrittlement in steels, and the development of high-performance automotive lightweight steels. We are eager to see the contributions Xiao will make to our team and anticipate his achieving remarkable academic success. Additionally, we wish him a fulfilling family life here in Kassel.
