Vita  (Prof. Dr. Anna Growe)

After studying spatial planning, Anna Growe completed her doctorate at TU Dortmund University. She worked as a post-doc at the University of Freiburg, where she also completed her habilitation in 2019. From 2015 to 2022, Anna Growe was Junior Professor of Regional Governance at the Institute of Geography at Heidelberg University.

Her research interests focus on spatial development in the knowledge economy, governance processes in metropolitan areas and the challenges of sustainable spatial development. A particular focus of her working group is on analysing socio-spatial networks in spatial development.

Anna Growe is a member of the Academy for Spatial Development in the Leibniz Association.
