Pfeiffer Foundation for Architecture

An important sponsor of the faculty is the Pfeiffer Foundation for Architecture. The purpose of the Pfeiffer Foundation is to promote science and research, artistic development as well as education and training, primarily in the field of architecture at the University of Kassel, both nationally and internationally.

The objectives of the foundation are to be realised by

  • awarding scholarships to students, doctoral candidates and artists
  • awarding prizes for very good theses and dissertations
  • supporting and organizing academic and artistic events
  • supporting research and development projects
  • awarding research contracts and scholarships
  • awarding grants for investments including hardware and software
  • issuing and otherwise promoting relevant publications and publications
  • supporing international exchange, for example through excursions
  • supporting other institutions, facilities and associations that pursue the same purposes as the foundation
