Installing the VPN client
Depending on the file management system of your Linux distribution, follow one of these instructions after downloading the installation files.

After downloading the installation files, open the console in the "Downloads" folder
Then enter the following commands:

Use of the VPN client
After installation, you can start the VPN client via the application menu or search your applications for "Cisco Secure Client".
Enter "vpn.uni-kassel.de" as the server address.
If the connection fails, enter "vpn1.its.uni-kassel.de" instead. Please use this address only as a fallback solution, as not all access authorizations are available via the vpn1 connection.
Then log in with your UniAccount (e.g. uk012345) and your password. If you are warned of an "Untrusted Server Certificate", select "Always Connect". The VPN connection is then active.
