3D-Lab

From Wednesday, 3 July, the University Library's 3D Lab will open as a show and try room. Up to and including August the 1st, 3D printers and scanners can be viewed here and small projects can be tried out under guidance. The lab staff will be happy to answer questions and help with problems.

During the try-out phase, the lab can be visited without registration on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The following are available:

1x 3D printer from Prusa (MK4)
1x handheld 3D scanner from Einstar
1x 3D scanner from Einstar (turntable)

You can try out:

- small projects of your own ( depending on the printing time)
- Short presentation of software and hardware
- Tips for your own projects
- Ask questions/describe problems

The lab will officially start on August 5th. From this date, workshops (3D operating licence) will be offered for use. It will no longer be possible to use the lab without an operating licence.
