San Sebastian Gertrude

The announced report of the team Gertrud: (And I have really changed only gaaaaaanz little...)

At 10 o'clock we all fell out of the feathers. Half an hour later we had breakfast.

The night before we got the news that Kathrin, who went back four days ago, had a positive rapid test. So we all tested ourselves at the breakfast table. Fortunately all negative.

After that, we went to a mountain railroad in the city center. To fulfill our educational mission, we continued to puzzle with Andreas about how this contraption works.

Once at the top, we found ourselves in a theme park (Parque de Atracciones Monte Igueldo). It was not open (out of season and all). We didn't come for the tourist stuff anyway.

After enjoying the view, we plunged into a little adventure. We walked along a streaky(!) path to a secluded cove. Once there, we rested a bit and climbed around on the rocks and walls painted with graffiti.

Also here the view was phenomänal. The way back rather less. The midday heat had set in and the men and women with the shorts complained about their bruised legs. Nevertheless we say:
The efforts were worth it! After such a strenuous hike we really deserved ice cream and a jump into the sea. We finished the evening with a tasty dinner.

At night [lights usually go out between 1 and 2, note] we wrote this article. Overall, we would rate the day with 4 stars (actually 5, but unfortunately we could only nag Andreas 6 times).
