Center of gravity of the AG-Berger meanwhile shifted to Marburg

Welcome to the University of Marburg Philipps-University, founded in 1527, one of the oldest universities in Germany. The 26,500 students make up more than a quarter of the population of Marburg, and next to a science campus outside the city center, many institutions and research institutes spread across the entire city. Today is therefore considered the literary witticism: "Other cities have a universityMarburg is a university".

Adolf-Messer-Fellowship for ELCH Dr. Markus Schöffler

ELCH Dr. Markus Schöffler from Frankfurt was awarded with the Adolf-Messer-Fellowship. He won the price of 25,000 Euro for his project: „Händigkeitsbestimmung komplexer chiraler Moleküle mit dem Reaktionsmikroskop“ or "Direct Determination of Absolute Molecular Stereochemistry in Gas Phase by Coulomb Explosion Imaging".

DPG-Spring meeting 2014, ELCH invitational

Symposium Electron dynamics in chiral systems

More than 100 scientists participated this year's two sessions of the DPG-ELCH-symposium. A total of six invited and four contributing talks allowed new perspectives on different topics of the world of the electron dynamics of chiral systems. Additionally, in the poster session ELCH-toppics were presented by ELCH-PhD students.

ELCH on the Hessentag

ELCH will be present on June 22 and 23 on the Ständeplatz 15-17.

At the Hessentag fair 2013 ELCH will be at ProLOEWE booth. Among smellable and tastable examples for chirality there will be scientists waiting to discuss the physics of ELCH with interested visitors.

ELCH becomes officially approved

Within a cerenomy on April 18th the official documents were given to the partners of the ELCH project.

ELCH on the Title of ProLOEWE-NEWS

In the current issue of the ProLOEWE-News all new LOEWE projects are presented. On the cover page the spokesperson of ELCH Prof. Dr. Ehresmann can be seen at work.

The ELCH has landed...

On the 05.03.2013 the collaborating ELCH groups met in Kassel to kickoff the ELCH.

In addition to the PIs 29 scientists working on the project and numerous guests from Kassel university and all over Germany wanted to learn more about the project and the first results.

The project spoke persons laid out the plans for the first year. Furthermore, the first exciting results were presented and were discussed in the poster session where the ELCH phd-students, postdocs and master-students took the opportunity to connect.
