Organic farming-specific requirements call for innovative solutions.

Digitization in agriculture is advancing, but efforts are often geared only to conventional farms. In Germany, however, 13.5% of farms are already organic, and the trend is still rising. In organic farming, there is great potential for digitization not only in increasing productivity, but also in other aspects such as animal welfare, nature conservation and quality monitoring, e.g. in field fodder cultivation, taking into account the multifunctional orientation of this type of farming.
