Stellungnahme zu einer für den 11.06.2024 angekündigten Demo

Am Dienstag, 11. Juni 2024 findet erneut eine Protestveranstaltung mit pro-palästinensischem Inhalt auf dem Mensa-Vorplatz auf dem Campus Holländischer Platz der Universität Kassel statt. Die Kundgebung wurde der Stadt Kassel für den Zeitraum von 12.00 bis 15.00 Uhr von einer Person angezeigt, die dem Bündnis Yussef Shaban zuzurechnen ist. Die Stadt hat die Zuständigkeit für alle öffentlichen Orte und entscheidet nach juristischer Prüfung gemäß dem Versammlungsrecht.

Am Donnerstag-Abend findet in Räumen der Universität eine weitere Veranstaltung zu dem Themenkomplex statt: die Hochschulgruppe des RCDS lädt zu einer „Informationsveranstaltung zum Thema Antisemitismus an hessischen Hochschulen“ ein.

Die Hochschulleitung der Universität Kassel macht darauf aufmerksam, dass sie bei beiden für diese Woche angekündigten Terminen nicht Veranstalterin, Organisatorin oder Unterstützerin ist.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, another protest event with pro-Palestinian content will take place on the Mensa forecourt on the Holländischer Platz campus of the University of Kassel. The rally has been reported to the city of Kassel for the period from 12:00 to 15:00 by a person associated with "Bündnis Yussef Shaban" . The city has jurisdiction over all public places and decides after legal examination in accordance with the law on assembly.

On Thursday evening, a further event on the subject will take place on the university site: the RCDS university group is inviting people to an "information event on the subject of anti-Semitism at universities in Hesse".

The Presidential Board of the University of Kassel would like to point out that it is not the host, organizer or supporter of either of these events announced for this week.
