The practical semester in Catholic Religion is anchored in module M6 L2. It is completed in both subjects simultaneously at a school and comprises approx. 75 hours at school in the subject Catholic Religion (and approx. 75 hours in the other subject), which also includes extracurricular school events (e.g. excursions, subject conferences, etc.). No other courses should be taken during the practical semester.
During the practical semester in Catholic Religion, two teaching experiments must be prepared in writing, carried out and reflected on in writing. One of these is supervised by the university tutor, the other by the mentor.
At the same time, an accompanying seminar and an accompanying seminar take place in each subject. The accompanying seminar in the subject of Catholic Religion is always "Planning and designing teaching practice".
We recommend completing the practical semester in the summer semester. Please take this into account when planning your studies!
