ViSpo video database for physical education

As mentioned in the introduction, a collection of video sequences was created as part of the two research projects to support the reflexive video casework in the laboratory events. The physical education case archive includes 48 video clips. The scenes show physical education students leading lessons (secondary level 1 and 2) as part of their school placements and are thus particularly suitable for theory-led discourse and reflection with students.

The case archive is organized thematically and can be used under the three focal points of teaching quality, movement fields, and teaching phases. The subtitled videos are accompanied by lesson plans and, in most cases, didactic and methodological comments by the students. In addition, reference is made to possible uses of the sequences under other thematic categories.
