C2: Eco-hydrological modeling of the test sites

The simplified DSSAT water component is to be coupled with the hydrological Catchment Modeling Framework (CMF) for a process-oriented mapping of water availability. Only this coupling makes it possible to model drought stress at the field level with DSSAT. The focus of the modeling in this TP is on depth-differentiated water extraction by perennial crops, which can cope better with drought stress than annual crops.
