Strategic personnel planning is intended to enable the University of Kassel to meet its personnel requirements systematically and with foresight, either by personnel development measures of (internal) employees or by recruiting (external) personnel.
Strategic HR planning is becoming increasingly important, especially in times of a growing shortage of skilled workers. This also calls for a further increase in employer attractiveness, since employees pursue a variety of goals with regard to career planning and personal development, and the university is in competition with other employers. Individual demands for work-life balance and more flexible and new working time models are increasing. It is therefore important to ensure that staffing procedures can be completed successfully.
Within the framework of the project, the focus will initially be on the administrative-technical employees of the University of Kassel. The project was launched in November 2020, and the planned transfer to regular operations is scheduled for 2027.
