On the basis of its positively evaluated equal opportunities concept, the University of Kassel was able to register the maximum possible number of three appointments of female professors for funding in the third phase of the federal and state program for female professors.
It will now receive funding from this program until 2025, which will enable it to implement additional equality-related measures in the following fields: Expansion of qualification offers for junior female scientists, additional offers of the Dual Career and Family Welcome Service, support of the Faculties in the implementation and evaluation of their equality-related measures, further training offers on gender-equitable leadership, financing of doctoral scholarships for doctoral candidates with children, development of further childcare offers in the flexible area and support of activities in the area of women's and gender research.
