Central library: underground car park in building sections B and C closed until mid-2023

From 02.07.2022, only the parking spaces in building section A will be available in the underground car park. The barrier-free parking spaces will be designated and marked.

With the closure of the underground car park in building sections B and C, a change in traffic routing will also be necessary. The access road previously used on the east side of the building via Georg-Forster-Straße cannot be used during this period. Access to the underground car park will then be via Kurt-Wolters-Straße and via the ramp between building sections A and B on the southern side of the library building.

Since the closure of the underground car park will result in the loss of parking spaces in building sections B and C, additional parking spaces will be made available in car park 3 at Science Park from 02.07.2022 onwards. Access will be possible via the parking card that has already been released.

We ask for your understanding that there will be noise and dust in the construction site areas. In the area "An der Ahna" there may also be further disruptions due to construction traffic, changed traffic routing and short-term closures. Please observe the respective signposting on site.
