Study programs for international students

International prospective students are eligible for the regular study program if they

• have a recognized school-leaving certificate or a comparable university entrance qualification in the undergraduate area (Bachelor's degree, teaching degree, artistic subjects) and, if applicable, subject-specific and/or language requirements. These entry/admission requirements are described on the respective course page.

As the main language of instruction at undergraduate level is predominantly German, a proven knowledge of German is mandatory.

• in the Master's area , a recognized Bachelor's degree and, if applicable, subject-specific and/or language requirements.

Information on the recognition of international degrees can be found in the database www.anabin.de. Nationality does not play a role in admission - the degree must only be comparable to a German qualification. The service facilities of the University of Kassel cannot carry out a preliminary check of certificates and therefore cannot provide any information on individual admission options.
