High quality in studies and teaching, good framework conditions for studies (QuiS)

Within the framework of the Hessian program "High quality in studies and teaching, good framework conditions for studies" (QuiS), the University of Kassel is implementing several projects from 2021 to 2025, in particular:

1. the conception, accreditation, application, start-up phase and coordination of several new sustainability-related study programs with an annual target of 250 study places will be supported by additional staff in the Faculties and the Kassel Institute for Sustainability financed by QuiS funds.
2. the establishment of a systematic coaching program for advising students with heterogeneous educational biographies and special difficulties in their studies will be supported by additional continuing education offerings of the 
3. greater flexibility, especially for students with time constraints, will be made possible in pilot study programs through variants of curricular flexibilization or flexibilization of course delivery as well as through the expansion of centrally provided support services of the Family Welcome Service.
