Mobility Fund for scientists with family responsibilities

In order to improve the framework conditions for reconciling family and academic life, the University has set up a mobility fund for academics, especially junior academics with family responsibilities. The fund can be used to subsidize mobility costs incurred due to family responsibilities in order to reconcile conference visits, professional trips, research stays abroad, etc. with family responsibilities. The prerequisite is the necessity of taking children under 16 years of age and persons for childcare (e.g. relatives) on business trips and/or additional care or nursing costs at home due to absence. A grant of up to 250 euros per child or relative can be applied for. Funding within the framework of third-party funded projects in consultation with the Family Welcome Service. Applications are submitted via the Family Welcome Service of the Equality Office.
