Implementation of the federal and state tenure-track program

As part of its target agreement with the state of Hesse, the University of Kassel has pledged to fill 10 to 15 percent of new appointments in a tenure-track process in the future and to use the 13 additional professorships acquired in the tenure-track program of the federal and state governments for this cultural change.

The administrative funds of the tenure-track program available until 2027 from the so-called strategy supplement will be used in Kassel in the following fields of action:

• Advice and Coordinator of new offers for tenure-track professorships, for example in the area of university didactics.
• Career advice and coaching.
• Support for (international) networking in academic and non-academic fields.
• Measures for equal opportunities and a better work-life balance.
