In addition to good texts, photos, graphics and videos are a sign of professionalism. The use of high-quality material is therefore very important.

Binding requirements for photos, graphics and videos

• Images and graphics must be saved in the corresponding photo folder.
• To ensure that images and graphics are displayed well on both large and small output devices, they must be uploaded with a width greater than 1,111px and in JPG format (graphics as PNG files).
• Women and men should appear as often as possible in the images and be displayed equally.
• Videos should always be uploaded to the video platform "Panopto"(www.uni-kassel.de/go/panopto) first and then integrated into the website (in german Language)
• For the publication of personal photos, you require the consent of the persons depicted as well as the permission of the author/photographer: Information on the protection of personal data / Information on copyright.

• All media files must be named with an appropriate file name.
• Graphics and photos must be provided with an image description (alternative text).

Copyright and the right to one's own image must be observed! And: The accessibility requirements demand that information must never be displayed as an image alone.
