Get involved. - Sustain Groups for a more sustainable university

On 04/27/2013, the first Sustain Group was held on the topic of "Campus development: mobility and open spaces". Current projects being worked on are "Tree sponsorships and biodiversity islands on campus", "Climate-friendly business trips" and "Glass recycling on campus".

The @campusgartenkassel was also involved.

On Wednesday 3.05.23 the Sustain Group "Sustainable Event Organization" continued. There was an exchange about the current needs, especially about "sustainable catering", the "development of an internal guideline" and the creation of a "list of competences and contact persons".

The meeting continues on 10.05.23 at 2 p.m. with the Sustain Group "Operational Development". Topics to be discussed include health, procurement and nutrition. Current projects we would like to continue working on are "Drinking Water Dispensers", "Tap Water Friendly Organization Award from a tip:tap", "Expanding E-Clauses", "Sustainable Canteen and Cafes". Feel free to drop by! 

In addition, we are offering a Sustain Group on "Sustainability Communication" on 5/17-23 at 2pm. We want to think together about what it takes to make sustainability issues more visible at the University of Kassel. A sustain board with different topics, e.g. mobility and energy saving activities or a sustain tour on campus are our first ideas. We now invite you to plan these further with us.

The meetings will take place at our Green Office. All working groups are open to interested employees and students from all areas of the university. Anyone who would like to get involved in the process is welcome to join at any time. If you have a brand new idea that is burning under your nails, you can of course bring it to our meetings.
