Vice President Prof. Dr Michael Wachendorf

Michael Wachendorf has been head of the unit of grassland science and renewable resources in Witzenhausen since 2004. Prior to this, he worked at the Institute of Plant Production and Plant Cultivation at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel. He gained his university lecturing qualifications in 2002 on the topic of environmental and management effects on performance parameters and storing white clover/grass mixtures in winter. Wachendorf is also the executive director of the Competence Centre for Climate Protection and Climate Adaptation (CliMA) at the University.
