Seven new Humboldt Fellows at the University of Kassel

Every year, visiting scientists come to Kassel on a Humboldt Research Fellowship to implement their own research project. In 2023, seven young scientists have arrived.

With the research fellowship, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation sponsors researchers with above-average qualifications from all over the world who apply for a guest stay at a German university. The scientists stay in Kassel for a period of 6 to 24 months and conduct research in these fields:

Experimental Physics,

Sustainability Sciences,

Cycling and local mobility,

Architecture, history of building and construction,

building materials science,

Land use ecology.

In the short video, three of them talk about where they come from, the research questions that drive them, and what they like best about the University of Kassel.
